General description : Striking colour zoning in this Sapphire! Crystal clear yellow meets the blue zone at diagonal in the central part of the Stone. Sapphires with this distinct colour zoning, at tbis size, are quite rare. Faceted into a an elongated and elegant freeform design by myself, I can see this gem making a stunning bespoke piece of jewellery. 
Size : Approx 15.0mm l x 4.9mm w x 3.9mm depth.
Origin : C. Qld Gemfields, Australia.
Clarity :
There is some natural silk present in the blue zone, not detracting from the beauty of this stone. 
Cut : Faceted by myself into a long freeform design. 
Colour : Parti. Blue/yellow. 
Heat/Treatment status : Unheated to all knowledge, rough was purchased as unheated but cannot be 100% sure. No other treatment.
