#781 - 5.35ct Australian (C. Qld Gemfields) Green Sapphire.

I quite like this design, especially for large, shallow 'roundish' rough. It's a nice alternative to a round brilliant, I like the faceted girdle and extra crown facets.

Fine remnant silk is present, and noticeable, especially in strong light (eg, full sun) and gives a slightly 'hazy' appearance to the stone. Less noticeable in shaded/ambient natural light.
